My Story
Mark co-founded 1050 Architects with Stefan and Claire in 2024, after having worked at director or partner level in practices in London and overseas over the years.

He has successfully delivered an incredible range of projects at all scales in several sectors throughout his career, and in recent years has had extensive experience of working on residential multi-unit developments and commercial offices. These have ranged from concept design and planning application stages through to technical design and construction, with many involving Conservation Areas, heritage assets or Listed buildings.

With his qualifications in both architecture and law, Mark handles the procedural and management systems within the company and works as a RIBA Student Mentor and visiting lecturer too. He has mentored undergraduates from Cambridge University and the University of Hertfordshire for many years and more recently served as a Part 3 Examiner at University College London Bartlett School of Architecture.

When not working with buildings, he also finds maths, physics and helicopters interesting…
