Ilinca Rusu

Ilinca completed her Master’s in Architecture at London South Bank University and has experience as a Part I Architectural Assistant, working on large-scale commercial and educational projects both locally and internationally.

Passionate about design and creating spaces that foster community and culture, her Master’s thesis focused on revitalizing Moldova’s rural areas by preserving traditional crafts and strengthening community ties. She designed workshop spaces for artisans alongside a central pavilion serving as a cultural hub. By integrating local materials with modern design, her project aimed to promote sustainable tourism and rural development.

During her architectural studies, she developed a strong passion for visual storytelling through collage techniques, which became a distinctive aspect of her design approach.

In her free time, she enjoys painting and has recently taken up baking and cooking for friends and family
